Hi, I visited your location last night for a to go order. Chicken fried steak, 2 chicken tenders, and a kids tenders meal, banana pudding and peach cobbler. I typically dine in with my family, but a broken foot, mini stroke,and losing my mom prevented me from doing so last night. We LOVE babes, but tonight, it was a miss. The salad was brown and slimy in some parts. The banana pudding was a less that half filled container, and nothing but brown mush. The cobbler was 3 peaches and 1 piece of crust.mine dinner was the chicken fried steak. I received a steak, and then the breading. Not attached at all. The person packing my food, HAD TO KNOW the breading came off completely, but tossed the breading in separate from the steak. The tenders were good, but seriously, the "left over" tiniest pieces. Then, a brown long hair in our green beans. We discarded them completely. The rest, corn mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits, were all delicious. I didn't call because, well, transparency moment. Between frustration, pain, depression, and being a red head, nobody deserves that side of me, lol. Instead, I chose to decompress, then reach out. So here I am. Last night, I just NEEDED to feed my family. It is frustrating to spend $85 for a meal that missed tonight. Do better! On a different note, the young man taking the to go order was EXACTLY the nicest, attentive, and "breath of fresh air", that my soul needed. He deserves to be told what an outstanding young man he is, as well as an asset to the babes family, and the community. In my depression with grieving, kindness stood out. I appreciate him very much!
