I went with my boyfriend to your Frisco, TX location and unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. We don’t usually eat much, so we ordered only one protein — the smoked chicken mix — and it came with four very small pieces of chicken. I can even send you a picture if needed. We ate two pieces there and took the other two home, but the portions were really small.
I understand that the protein comes with the vegetable plate (mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and gravy), which should be included with the $20 protein plate. However, since we shared one protein, the bill showed $20 for the protein plus $11.99 for the vegetable plate. When we asked the server about it, she said it was because we were sharing the plate, which didn’t make sense, since we didn’t ask for any refills — she only served one portion of vegetables, salad, and bread for us to share.
The server was very nice, but she spoke very fast and seemed in a hurry. Also, no one offered us a menu. I’ve been to another location before (Carrollton), and when I went with my friends, we shared one protein too, and we were not charged extra for the vegetable plate.
I didn’t like how the situation was handled since this was not explained beforehand, and I just wanted to share my feedback about it.
