It has been a couple of years since we last ate at Babe’s. I do not remember your green beans being burnt. The burnt taste is in liquid the beans cook in and permeates all of the beans in the pot. This horrible. When we complained we were brought a new bowl of burnt green beans. When I complained to the manager she told me they were carmalized. Carmelized green beans are not cooked in water/liquid they are usually sautéed in butter with sugar and maybe soy sauce added. Blistered green beans are sautéed and not cooked in water/liquid. Once you burn green beans and cook them in liquid the WHOLE pot of beans taste burnt and are inedible. It is a mystery how people were eating this in your restaurant. BURNT IS BURNT.
